Magda Frank born in Transylvania, Hungary. Magda Frank's work was described as "colossal" and "portentous" by prestigious critics. She studied at art schools in Budapest with Béni Ferenczy and Miklos Borsos where she was initiated in the secrets of stone, wood and metal. He completed his training in Paris and Switzerland. In Paris, she studied with Gimond at the Académie Julian.
She and her work embarked for Buenos Aires in 1949. She adopted Argentine nationality. She had solo and group exhibitions in Argentine, Germany, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Brazil; in all these countries her works were awarded prizes.
His search for genuine expression has no rest. She left the figurative and ventured into the abstract. Finally she was seduced by pre-Columbian art, where she definitively found her stamp. She died in Buenos Aires on June 23, 2010.
